What makes it stand out?

What makes it stand out?

  • Three-Floor Water World: Seppi's Water Fun stacks four slides, a 90-meter tube that is faster than it looks, a wave slide, a children's slide, and a toddler tractor slide, over three indoor and outdoor floors with a water playground and bambini pool, so rainy days are covered

  • Sleeps Seven in One Suite: the two-level Interio Maisonette Suite takes up to seven guests, letting larger families and grandparents share a single booking

  • Car-Free Arrival: the resort sits a two-minute walk from Mayrhofen station and the free ski bus, so families can arrive by train and leave the car at home

HAPPYFAM

10% off your stay

In addition, you receive a sparkling welcome drink for the whole family and one complimentary cinema or bowling voucher when you mention Ultimate Family Hotels when booking.

Neuhaus Zillertal Resort sits directly at the Mayrhofen train station, so you can arrive by rail, walk two minutes to reception, and leave the car parked all week. Village life is right outside the gate, though with a 15,000 square meter garden, a natural swimming lake, and a water lily pond on site, you rarely need to go looking for it. The Moigg family has owned this land since 1649, and the original farmstead now sits alongside a sleek modern bar and dining room, with the family's own farm still partially supplying the kitchen. It makes an easy base for a mountain vacation in Austria, with the Penken and Ahorn cable cars and the free ski bus a short walk away. Worth knowing before you book: this is a family-friendly resort rather than a family-only one. Couples and groups stay here too, which suits parents who want their children genuinely welcomed without the whole hotel built around a kids club.

Among the roughly 170 rooms, suites, apartments, and chalets, garden family suites have a separate children's room, and the two-level Interio Maisonette Suite sleeps up to seven. Children's bunks are reached by real stairs rather than a ladder, and the team fits a fall guard to the lower bunk for toddlers without being asked twice. The range of wellness and activities is what makes this one work for three generations at once. Seppi's Water Fun spreads a water playground, a bambini pool, and four slides over three floors, including a fast black tube slide that older kids will ride repeatedly, with heated indoor and outdoor pools alongside. Grandparents and parents can retreat to the Himmelspa, where the 25-meter infinity pool and sauna world are reserved for ages 16 and up, so time off duty is built into the layout rather than negotiated. Everyone regroups for the on-site cinema, which screens family films Thursday through Sunday, a Kegelbahn bowling alley, parent-child yoga in the garden, and the kids disco. Outside, a 2,000 square meter natural playground adds climbing courses and a scooter track, and Seppi's Kinderland runs supervised afternoons for ages three and up. Half board settles into a rhythm fast: the same table all week with a high chair and coloring pencils already set, an unhurried breakfast marketplace with a juice bar, afternoon coffee and cake, and a five-course dinner with a children's buffet and a daily ice cream station.
